Dragonfly Bed

Overview

Dragonfly is a 2017 bed by Roberto Lazzeroni. Flexform describes its high, generously padded headboard as the defining element of the design.

Construction

Moulded polyurethane cushions the metal headboard frame beneath protective laminated fabric. A solid-ash base surrounds an epoxy powder-coated metal reinforcement structure, while the sleeping platform combines metal and wood slats.

Specifications

Representative code 01I840 measures 200 × 250 × 138 cm. Fabric and leather upholstery are both fixed rather than removable, and the slatted base consists of two pieces.

The official page links Dragonfly's generous proportions to a sense of intimacy. The headboard curves forward at its sides, while the solid-wood base lifts the upholstered form above the floor.

Part of the Dragonfly language

Flexform states that the bed carries the design strengths of the wider Dragonfly collection into the sleeping area. The product-specific sheet lists three bed codes, each with its own width.
