Descripción

Three related forms

Cyclade comprises low, mid, and tall occasional tables, each with its own plan and height. Curved edges, notched openings, and pass-throughs allow the pieces to nest or stand separately.

Wood or stone tops

The tops are offered in wood or Carrara marble, paired with powder-coated Onyx Ultra Matte legs. The low table can also receive a separate glass bowl in its circular opening.

Representative low table

The selected Walnut low model measures 28.9 in wide, 41 in deep, and 11 in high. The representative store configuration omits the optional bowl.

Historia

Islands moving together

Gabriel Tan designed Cyclade in Porto and looked to Pangea and shifting islands for the way distinct forms can gather and separate. The name refers to encircling islands, while the tables translate that idea into connected curves and carefully used negative space.

Form as function

Tan treated openings and notches as active parts of each table. They allow one piece to pass around another, accept the optional bowl in the low table, or approach a nearby furniture leg while maintaining the identity of each sculptural form.
