Cobea

Cobea Chair

Cobea is an outdoor chair by Vincent Van Duysen, available in versions with and without armrests. Molteni&C identifies the backrest weave and solid-teak construction as its defining material features.

Materials

The structure is natural-finish solid teak with plastic ferrules. The back uses 100% polypropylene weaving, and the seat cushion contains shaped polyurethane under a water-repellent, fully recyclable polyester-fibre cover.

CSD2 Representative Size

Outdoor Material Study

Molteni&C presents Cobea as an expression of Vincent Van Duysen's outdoor work, combining teak slats, a woven back and a customizable seat cushion. The product page emphasizes the relationship between a solid structure and the softer polypropylene ribbon.

Landmark Collection

Molteni&C places Cobea in the Landmark Collection. No matching Landmark collection row exists in the local Library, and current owner rules prohibit creating a missing collection during this batch, so Cobea remains unlinked and the gap is recorded.
