Overview
The Carmel Bistro Dining Table by OEO Studio combines a 75 × 75 cm tabletop with dining height. GUBI describes it as suitable for indoor and outdoor settings, from casual gatherings to formal occasions.
Construction
The top is glazed Italian stoneware. A smooth high-gloss glaze is hand-sprayed while the ceramic dries and is then fired. Four stainless-steel legs form the supporting base.
Specifications
The official drawing gives 75 cm width, 75 cm depth and 74 cm height. GUBI offers two tabletop colourways and identifies the selected configuration as item 10137220.
Geschichte
Café Scale
OEO Studio developed the Carmel Bistro Dining Table by bringing the expressive surface treatment of the Carmel coffee tables to a dining-height format. GUBI connects the design with European café culture and describes it for use both inside and outside.
Fired Surface
The ceramic top receives its glossy glaze before firing. GUBI says minerals enrich the surface in the furnace, giving the tabletop its textured depth and lustre while the four-legged base provides the table's compact footprint.
