Adjustable stool
The Caper Multipurpose Stool combines swivel, tilt, and pneumatic height adjustment with plastic casters. Herman Miller positions the raised seat for group settings where seated and standing participants meet at eye level.
Perforated seating
Openings in the contoured seat and back dissipate warmth and moisture. The moulded glass-filled surface can be replaced by a FLEXNET seat, whose suspension spreads load and limits pressure points. The official store also specifies a tubular steel frame for the mobile base.

A taller multipurpose format
Jeff Weber extended Caper's mobile seating into a stool that supports more than one seated posture. The product page ties the elevated form to meetings and group participation.
Controls and support
The stool retains the family’s direct construction while adding swivel, tilt, height adjustment, and rolling movement. Herman Miller credits Weber with designing Caper seating for varied people, spaces, and tasks.
