Counter and bar heights

Betwixt Stool extends Studioilse's Betwixt seating concept into counter- and bar-height models. Each version is 19 inches deep and 18.5 inches across. The bar-height version is 42.5 inches high; the counter-height version is 38.25 inches high. Both list a 17-inch seat depth.

Mixed materials

A steel frame supports a seat and back offered in wood, upholstery, or composite cork. The rear legs appear broad from one viewpoint and narrow from another, producing two profiles within the same structure.

Progression from the chair

Herman Miller describes the stool as a logical progression of Studioilse's Betwixt Chair concept. It retains the robust steel frame and straight-lined silhouette while raising the seat to counter or bar height.
