B&B Atoll Bandb Armchair

Compact proportions

B&B Atoll is the small armchair added to the wider seating range in 2021. Its 84 cm width and elevated base give the chair a concise footprint, while separate seat and back cushions soften the linear support.

Layered construction

The inner structure combines tubular steel and steel profiles. Cold-shaped polyurethane, polyester fibre, differentiated-density foam and sterilised down form the upholstered elements. A die-cast aluminium support frame carries the chair; fabric and leather are the two cover categories.

AT84 dimensions

The product sheet records AT84 at 84 × 77.5 × 81 cm, with a 45 cm seat height and 66 cm arm height.

A chair within the Atoll range

Antonio Citterio developed this small armchair as a later addition to the B&B Atoll seating range. The product sheet dates the model to 2021 and relates its slender raised support to the sofa while giving the chair its own compact scale.

Linear support, soft upper volume

The character comes from the contrast between the thin base and the two cushions resting against a slightly inclined frame. The result brings together the range’s linearity and softness in the new small-armchair format.
