Signature Style
Aas describes her aim as creating long-lasting, honest products that emphasize material and function. Herman Miller connects her practice to woodworking heritage, memory, and furniture that develops a relationship with its user over time.
Notable Works
Her work spans furniture, lighting, home accessories, and textiles for Norwegian and international brands. The Land Collection—a dining table, console, and credenza—is her first collection for Herman Miller.
Recognition
The Sheibler Foundation named Aas Designer of the Year in 2019. Her work is held by Norway's National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design, and she co-founded the Bergen exhibition platform and shop Kiosken Studio.
