Background
Peter Kunz is an architect whose Arper profile records more than thirty years of practice in Switzerland. He founded his own architecture office in 1991, working on residential and industrial buildings.
Signature Style
Kunz deliberately keeps his architectural team small. Arper describes an office of eight architects and presents that scale as a continuing part of the firm's philosophy.
Notable Works
For Arper, Kunz designed Onemm in 2022. Its one-millimetre folded-steel top translates a planar architectural idea into a light but structural table. In 2014 he also co-founded STRUT ARCHITEKTEN AG with two partners.
Legacy
His documented practice connects building design with a precisely reduced furniture project. Onemm extends from indoor tables to outdoor versions while keeping the folded sheet as its central idea.
