起源
Charles 与 Ray Eames 花费多年时间，研究如何将胶合板在三维方向上弯曲成贴合人体的座椅外壳。Vitra 将 Plywood Group 的年代标注为 1945/1946，并将其设计归于 Charles & Ray Eames。
设计语言
该系列将模压胶合板座面与靠背搭配不同的底座。Vitra 认为，这些轻巧紧凑的椅子之所以舒适，得益于有机曲面外壳与略带弹性的靠背，即便不加软包，也同样舒适宜人。
