Kollektionsgeschichte
Origin
HAY introduced the Passerelle Table Collection in its August 2022 news archive. Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec drew on the uncluttered aesthetics of classic Shaker furniture, translating its simplicity and quality for contemporary requirements.
Design Language
The family uses a balanced, flat-packed construction. Solid wooden legs and tabletop edges are joined by an aluminium-and-steel crossbar, while the surface can be veneer, laminate or linoleum over a lightweight Lisocore® core.
Key Pieces
The official family page names three members: the Passerelle Table, Passerelle Desk and Passerelle High Table. Together they extend one structural idea across dining, desk and standing-height formats for private and public spaces.
