기원
Muuto는 2014년 Fiber Chair를 처음 선보였습니다. 코펜하겐의 듀오 Iskos-Berlin이 디자인한 이 제품은 전형적인 쉘 체어를 미래지향적으로 재해석하고자 하는 열망에서 탄생했습니다. 단순한 플라스틱 의자가 아니라, 오늘날 우리가 세상을 인식하는 방식과 공명하는 독특한 표현력을 지닌 디자인입니다. 이후 세대의 제품은 환경적 영향을 줄이고자 하는 의식적인 관점에서 재설계되었습니다.
디자인 언어
모든 제품은 플라스틱과 목재 섬유의 복합재로 만든 쉘을 공유하며, 독특하게 깊이 있는 표면과 부드럽고 매트한 촉감을 선사합니다. 섬유는 멀리서는 보이지 않지만 가까이에서 드러납니다. Muuto의 페이지에는 이 제품군이 EU Ecolabel 인증을 받았다는 내용이 소개되어 있습니다.
