Art, craft and the domestic object
Zanotta presents Edizioni as a collection built from different influences and intended to test less travelled approaches. Its stated foundation is the relationship between art and craftsmanship, applied to objects that support domestic life.
Many creative disciplines
The programme brings together architects, designers and artists rather than following one author or one product type. Zanotta names Alessandro Mendini, Ettore Sottsass, Andrea Branzi, Bruno Munari, Fortunato Depero, Corrado Levi, Riccardo Dalisi, Alik Cavaliere, Alfredo Pizzo Greco and Joe Tilson among its contributors.
The published group
The current Edizioni page lists Agrilo, Alchera, Alicante, Calamobio, Carabo, Cetonia, Genesio, Hispo, Macaone, Mikiolone, Mombasa, Nairobi, Pompei, Singer, Sirfo and Zabro. The breadth of that list reflects the programme's stated openness to different languages and working methods.
