起源
Vitra 将 Soft Pad 系列追溯至 1969 年，并将其归于 Charles & Ray Eames 名下。Vitra 认为，这些座椅在结构和造型上承袭了 Aluminium 系列，其区别在于缝制在座面与靠背上的软垫，与纤细的铝型材形成对比。Eames 设计办公室同样将该系列定为 1969 年，并指出这些座椅由 Aluminum 系列演化而来；其标志性特征是在厚实、饱满的软垫上采用双针明线缝合。
设计语言
