브랜드 역사
HAY는 2002년 코펜하겐에서 Mette and Rolf Hay가 설립했습니다. 두 사람은 덴마크 가구 회사 Gubi에서 근무하던 중 만났습니다. 첫 컬렉션은 2003년 1월 쾰른 imm에서 공개되었고, 첫 매장은 2004년 코펜하겐 Pilestræde에 문을 열었으며, 플래그십 스토어 HAY House는 2007년에 선보였습니다.
브랜드 철학
HAY는 언제나 좋은 디자인은 모두의 권리라고 믿어 왔습니다. 창립자들은 지금도 크리에이티브 디렉터로 활동하며, 설립 초기부터 同시대 최고의 디자이너들과 협업해 높은 품질의 제품을 더 많은 사람들이 누릴 수 있도록 하는 데 집중해 왔습니다. 브랜드는 예술, 건축, 패션이라는 세 가지 영감의 원천을 바탕으로 합니다.

대표작
HAY의 카탈로그는 칫솔에서 소파까지 폭넓게 아우릅니다. Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec(Palissade, CPH, Élémentaire), Stefan Diez, Inga Sempé, Naoto Fukasawa, Muller Van Severen 등 디자이너들과의 오랜 협업을 통해 주택, 사무공간, 카페를 위한 가구, 조명, 액세서리가 탄생했습니다.

현재
HAY의 크리에이티브 본사는 코펜하겐에 있으며, 전 세계 여러 도시에 매장을 운영하고 있습니다. Herman Miller는 2018년 지분을 취득한 뒤 2019년 최대 주주가 되었고, HAY는 현재 MillerKnoll 그룹의 일원입니다.
