品牌传承
Cassina 由 Cesare 与 Umberto Cassina 兄弟于 1927 年创立于米兰以北布里安扎地区的 Meda，最初名为“Amedeo Cassina”，是一家细木家具作坊。战后，公司将设计与生产分离，开始与外部建筑师合作，其中最重要的是 Gio Ponti：双方于 1952 年共同为远洋邮轮 Andrea Doria 配置家具，并自 1957 年起生产 699 Superleggera 椅。
设计理念
Cassina 将自身的发展历程描述为从手工作坊迈向工业化生产，把研究与技术同悠久的工艺传统相结合。公司于 1969 年成立研究中心，并因其对意大利设计的文化贡献而荣获金圆规奖（Compasso d'Oro）。
经典作品
- I Maestri：经授权复刻 Le Corbusier、Pierre Jeanneret 与 Charlotte Perriand 的作品（始于 1964–65 年），之后又纳入 Rietveld、Mackintosh 与 Frank Lloyd Wright 的设计，均与设计师基金会合作考证研究
- Vico Magistretti 设计的 Maralunga（1979 年金圆规奖）、Afra 与 Tobia Scarpa 设计的 Soriana、Mario Bellini 设计的 Cab
品牌现状
Cassina 持续与 Piero Lissoni、Philippe Starck、Patricia Urquiola 等当代设计师合作，通过 Custom Interiors 承接工程项目，经由门店及自有网店销售，现隶属于 Haworth 集团。
