– DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT –
New Rosewood Hotel opened at Guangzhou in 2019.
It is located in the 108-story CTF Finance Centre designed by KPF (Kohn Pedersen Fox), and the hotel is the world’s tallest 5-star hotel.
The hotel has 251 rooms and 355 residence.
Yabu Pushelberg designed its hotel guest-room and public space.
Yabu Pushelberg carefully selected materials and textiles that reference ancient Chinese crafts, such as vermillion-red lacquered doors marking the entrance with 5 meter high sailing.
It is beautifully and elegantly designed in modern and “Yabu Pushelberg” way of design with lots of inspiration from the local traditional culture, heritage, design, or material – lacquer work, patterned screens, lanterns, organic shaped wooden chairs, or bonsai greens offer the feeling of local culture.
The guest room has an eye-catching pink velvet sofa, which offers vividness but luxury in the relaxing setting. The metal screens designed in details also offers the feeling of luxury and sharpness in the room.
